PRIVATE SUNSET CATAMARAn charter FROM 20th NOV

Your charter will start in the picturesque Jolly Harbour on the sheltered west coast of Antigua.

You will be greeted by the captain and crew and after a quick safety briefing we will move slowly through the marina. Once clear, we will head towards one of our favourite snorkelling spots or secluded beaches. We will give you the choice of location on the day depending upon weather conditions and your own personal preferences. We will cruise gently along the west coast through the beautiful clear azure waters of the Caribbean Sea. The colour of the water really does need to be seen to be believed. No filters are necessary on this coast!

We think the island looks best from the water and you'll have a prime view whilst lounging on our extensive foredeck.  The west coast beaches are blessed with a stunning backdrop of the Shekerley Mountains, including the highest mountain in Antigua, Boggy Peak.

Antigua is home to three species of Sea Turtles; Green, Hawksbill and Leatherback. Keep a look out for them in the water as they nest regularly along the coast. We have binoculars available for our guests to use. Our island waters are regularly visited by dolphins and whales, particularly in the spring time and early summer. Andy has an excellent viewpoint on the flybridge and he will surely let you know if he see's anything. You'll hear him whooping with excitement!

Once the anchor is set you can choose to cool off in the calm late afternoon waters, or sit back and enjoy another drink.

Fruit and light snacks are provided and of course, there's still plenty of time to enjoy your host's famous Tropical Rum Punch as we wait for the sun to hit the horizon. If you're very lucky you may see our famous green flash. It happens so fast that most people blink and miss it. The flash of green is so rare and unpredictable it’s often thought of as a myth or legend among mariners and in movies such as “Pirates of the Caribbean.” In the movie the deck crew refer to the flash of green light right as the sun is setting, saying it’s a soul coming back to this world from the dead. Another saying is if someone sees the green flash they will never go wrong in matters of the heart.

After the sun sets we will head slowly back to dock using the last of the natural light..
