YOUR SUNSET CRUISE ITINERARY (3.00pm til SUNSET)
Your charter will begin in picturesque Jolly Harbour on Antigua’s sheltered west coast.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your captain and crew. After a quick safety briefing, we will gently move through the marina. Once we’re clear, we'll set sail towards one of our favorite snorkeling spots or secluded beaches. You’ll have the opportunity to select the location based on the day’s weather conditions and your personal preferences. We will cruise leisurely along the west coast, enjoying the stunning clear azure waters of the Caribbean Sea. The mesmerizing color of the water is truly something you need to see to believe—no filters required here!
We believe the best view of the island is from the water, and you’ll have a prime vantage point while relaxing on our spacious foredeck. The west coast beaches are framed by the beautiful Shekerley Mountains, including Boggy Peak, the highest mountain in Antigua.
Antigua is also home to three species of sea turtles: Green, Hawksbill, and Leatherback. Keep an eye out for them, as they can often be seen nesting along our shores. We provide binoculars for our guests to enhance their experience. Our island waters frequently attract dolphins and whales, especially during spring and early summer. Your captain, stationed at the helm, will keep a lookout and share any exciting sightings with you—prepare for some joyful whooping!
Once the anchor is set, you can choose to cool off in the calm late afternoon waters or unwind with another drink. We provide fresh fruit and light snacks, and of course, there's still plenty of time to enjoy your host's famous Tropical Rum Punch as we wait for the spectacular Antigua sunset. If you're fortunate, you might catch a glimpse of the elusive green flash. This natural phenomenon occurs so quickly that most people miss it. The green flash is regarded as a rare spectacle, often seen as a myth or legend among mariners and portrayed in movies like 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' which suggests that witnessing it brings good fortune in matters of the heart.
After the sun sets, we'll slowly make our way back to dock using the last of the natural light.
