Our charters include all drinks except champagne which is available at extra charge. We have a broad selection of beer, wines (including sparkling white and rose), spirits/liquor, soda, juices and water, and any combination thereof. Try our freshly prepared Tropical Rum Punch, Pina Colada or our own Caribbean Blue cocktail.

Champagne and selected premium upgrades can be ordered in advance.

Four-hour and sunset charters include fresh fruit, crudités and a selection of dips.

Six-hour and eight-hour charters include a freshly prepared lunch, with hot dishes cooked aboard. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives can be arranged in advance.

Fresh Antiguan spiny lobster is available as an optional seasonal upgrade.

We have the best selection of water toys and floats to help you enjoy the water. Stand-up paddleboards, pool noodles, lily pads, water hammock and even water scooters are available depending upon which yacht is selected.

You can add a private taxi pick up and return in our booking system. It will calculate the total cost based on your pick up location and number of guests in your group and confirm the pick up time automatically.

Antigua Day Charters is a locally based, owner-operated business led by Andy and assisted by his son Charlie and an experienced team who know and love Antigua’s waters.

Andy has lived in Antigua for more than ten years and also volunteers with Antigua and Barbuda Search and Rescue as Jolly Harbour Base Manager and he and Charlie are both Search and Rescue captains.

From your first enquiry to your day on the water, you are dealing directly with the people who own, operate and care for the yachts.

You can book safely and securely online directly on this website. It provides live availability and instant booking confirmation so you can plan the rest of your stay knowing that your charter is secured. A deposit of 50% is charged when you book, the balance can be paid at any time between booking and the day of the charter. There is no booking fee. Alternatively you can call or WhatsApp us on the number below and we can take your details from you. .

Where are you located?

Our current launch spot is located in Jolly Harbour, on the SeaDream dock, right in the middle of the commercial centre. Parking is available nearby, or you can add a private return transfer from your hotel, villa or the cruise port when booking. It will calculate the total cost based on your pick up location and number of guests in your group and confirm the pick up time automatically.

What is the start time?

Your private charter time starts at the time as stated during booking. Morning or 6 hour tours start at 10.00am and Sunset cruise start at 3.00pm. We offer flexible start times on all 6, 8 or Barbuda charters, just mention it in the booking comment field and we'll sent an amended booking confirmation showing your new start time, or contact us to discuss options.

What do we need to bring with us?

Bring swimwear, towels, sunglasses and reef-friendly sunscreen. Please do not bring aerosol sunscreen, as it can damage the yachts and is harmful to the marine environment.

Changing facilities are available aboard.

What if the weather is a concern?

Your captain will assess the conditions and may adjust the route or anchorage to provide the best available experience.

If conditions make it unsafe to operate the charter, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.

A brief tropical shower will not normally prevent the charter from operating, and all three yachts provide shaded or sheltered guest areas.

What if I suffer from sea sickness?

Our motor yacht is far more stable than a mono-hull sailboat, and handles the waters around Antigua with ease. Our Catamaran is a narrow hulled performance catamaran, that cuts through the water much smoother than a regular catamaran. Our Sunseeker effortlessly ploughs though the water at speed. However, if you usually get seasick then we recommend you take non-drowsy seasickness medication such as dramamine or bonine 1 hour before boarding. Once aboard then we recommend you drink plenty of water and ginger ale to help.

Some of our party have special dietary requirements or allergies. What should we do?

You can advise us of any special dietary requirements when you book and we will contact you to discuss your options. We MUST be advised in advance of any food allergies.

What is your cancellation policy

If we need to cancel your charter due to bad weather or due to any unforeseen circumstances then we will issue an immediate and full refund of any monies paid.

If you need to cancel then you can cancel with a full refund providing that you give us at least 7 days notice before the date that your charter was due to take place. A cancellation within 7 days of the date of the charter will for any reason will mean that we have to charge the full amount due to your card. In this age of travel uncertainty we highly recommend that you take out travel insurance before you leave your home country. The only exception to this will be if you are planning this trip as part of a cruise ship excursion and your cruise ship fails to port in Antigua on the day of the tour. In this case, we will offer a full refund.

Please note that our departure times are local time, which may differ from cruise ship time.

What if I need to change our group size?

Life changes, we get it. Maybe you met some new friends on your trip that want to share this experience with you? Maybe you fell out with your vacay buddies?

Please let us know as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours so that we can try to accommodate your request.

How do I check availability?
